Solar panel biasanya terdiri dari banyak kotak kecil yang disebut sel surya (solar cell), biasanya terbuat dari bahan yang disebut silikon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-cara-kerjanya\">Cara Kerjanya<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Matahari mengenai panel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketika cahaya matahari mengenai permukaan solar panel, cahaya itu membawa energi (disebut foton).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Silikon di dalam panel meningkat karena cahaya<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Silikon di dalam panel terbuat dari dua lapisan khusus. Ketika cahaya datang, elektron di dalam silikon seperti &#8220;terbangun&#8221; dan mulai bergerak.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Gerakan elektron inilah yang jadi listrik<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Elektron yang bergerak sedang menghasilkan arus listrik. Ini disebut efek fotovoltaik yaitu sebuah proses di mana cahaya berubah menjadi listrik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Listrik dialirkan ke rumah atau baterai<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Listrik dari solar panel biasanya berupa listrik DC (arus searah). Jika ingin digunakan untuk alat rumah tangga (TV, AC, kulkas), listrik harus diubah menjadi AC (arus bolak-balik) memakai alat yang disebut inverter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-jenis-panel-surya\">Jenis Panel Surya<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-1-monocrystalline-silicon\">1. <strong>Monocrystalline Silicon<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Monocrystalline adalah solar panel yang terbuat dari satu kristal silikon murni. Proses pembuatannya menggunakan metode Czochralski, sehingga menghasilkan material yang seragam dan berkualitas tinggi. Warna panel biasanya hitam pekat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cara Kerjanya :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketika cahaya matahari mengenai panel, elektron dalam kristal bergerak dengan bebas karena struktur kristalnya tunggal. Aliran elektron yang bebas ini menghasilkan listrik dengan efisiensi tinggi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-2-polycrystalline-silikon\">2. <strong>Polycrystalline Silikon<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Polycrystalline terbuat dari banyak kristal silikon yang dilebur menjadi satu wafer. Bentuknya kecil-kecil seperti pecahan kristal yang saling menempel. Warnanya biasanya biru metalik.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cara Kerjanya:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketika cahaya mengenai panel, elektron tetap bergerak tetapi lebih terhambat karena adanya banyak batas antar kristal. Hal ini membuat efisiensinya lebih rendah dibanding monocrystalline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-3-thin-film-solar-cel\">3. <strong>Thin Film Solar Cel<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Thin Film Solar Cell adalah jenis panel surya yang dibuat menggunakan lapisan material semikonduktor yang sangat tipis (lebih tipis dari rambut manusia), bukan dari silikon kristal seperti monocrystalline atau polycrystalline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cara Kerjanya :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ketika Cahaya maahari mengenai panel, Cahaya tersebut diserap oleh lapisan tipis semikonduktor. Semikonduktor tersebut membebaskan elektron. Lalu elektron bergerak dan menghasilkan listrik DC (arah satu jalur). Listrik kemudian diubah menjadi AC melalui inverter. Karena lapisan materialnya tipis dan fleksibel, cahaya lebih mudah diserap meskipun intensitas cahaya rendah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-4-compound-thin-film-triple-junction\">4.
